Dearest Carmen:
How wonderful to see your comment the other day. Thank you.
Now you.... Seed of Hope, yes yes yes. I've thought of you so often. Happy best birthday of your life I'll bet. I was so extremely scared for you - lung cancer beat my husband in less than a year. You are inspiring, strong and a talented poet to boot. I'm sorry you have had to go through those horrid treatments, but here you are... back with us and all you love.
Great big hugs and kisses,
Kathy |

Beyond inspiring !! But then, so are you, my strong and courageous and talented friend. {Not to state the obvious.) I am so, so glad that cancer is behind you. More than anything, it was your attitude that routed it. Of that I am positive. We all need to take a page from your book! Never give in, never give up. Just g i v e. Love yourself and others as each of us is born to do. Reading this and your recent messages is just the pick-me-up I need. Girl, you are
a . w o n d e r. With love, awe, and respect. . .always, and then.

Happy Birthday, Carmen!
And here's to your health! I'm so happy for you. Congratulations!
Your story is truly inspiring.
Hope to continue reading you here once more.
Perhaps you will write about it; share and enlighten? You know me, I'd prefer, through your poetry. Just the kind of message, makes it meaningful.
Oh, and I want to thank you for your wonderful review on my latest poem. Made me laugh, just like you, and makes my day, too.

Welcome back Carmen!!! so, one of my little prayers got through among the myriad ones of all your friends, now you know, friends can heal anything when they are so many!!!
Now, dear girl, is time to start writing about all that time of silence, when inside the cocoon you had time to become a literary butterfly.

Carmen,
Praise God! Doctors don't know everything. I always say, "the reason they call it medical PRACTICE is because they haven't perfected it yet." Truth? Indeed. A most beautiful write of celebration and gratitude, welcome back, you've been missed!
