“Love So True”

Sometimes it makes you blue

Knowing love is true

I saw the ocean so blue

And I started missing you

Oh my darling

Our love so true

All I want

Is to be with you

Yes baby

I love you too

Love so far

Is like passion in a jar

It rips your heart out

While you play your guitar

Ain’t that bloody bizarre

Now After Fifty Odd Years

The first time

I could read everything

About the wetness

Of yesterday in our eyes

Now our tears

The sweet smile

And the wetness

Of yesterday

A bright today

I am so happy

For you and me

For a bright tomorrow

A forgotten tear

Of yesterday
