Shadows lingering in darkness
Brilliant sun rays
Filtering through parted curtains
Stealing the gloom
From the shadows, in the room
Like tear drops, in the rain.

So did the love
Of an angel
Once possessed
Like a miracle.

Through typing
Keyborads
in the silent loneliness
Of a curious night.

We dared explored
Typing away dreams
In the evening we shared
Challenging, the unknown darkness
within the abyss
Of Cyber nightmares.

Where sweetness was dispensed
Like ice cream in a pallor
Compliments, praises and charms
Awaken dormant egos.

Opening flood gates, of liquid dreams
Once thought dried
By the rock of ages
Thrilling the heart
While cleansing the soul.

Dreams of each other's passion
Burning within, making promises
With false hopes
Knowing the taboo
Of taking it to the extreme.

Unknowing
Was the honest expectation
On a one sided romance
Non ever treated her
with so much respect
Love and the purist compassion.

Never, was she embraced
As I, held her Tenderly in my arms
Within her dreams
Of erotic splendor
And distorted moments
Within her new found fantasy.

Sigh into the wind
One more time
As we dream of each other
Listening to the songs
as we danced
To the words narrating
A blossoming love.

William, I had to read this twice so I could savor it's flavor. Honestly? This is one of the best poems I've ever read. It's flair is something one would want to re-read daily.
Excellent writing! Lisa
