Where Pain resides

(A collaboration)

~*~

William

~*~

From a thousand miles away

My heart breaks

My soul you imprison

In your every thoughts

My whispers you no longer hear

Fear has taken residence

Within every wonderful thought

Of you

Wondering if I’ll ever embrace you

Within the warmth of my arms.

~*~

The beauty of your lovely eyes

I crave to see, my reflection upon

Your sweet breath I desire

To inhale as our lips meet

In dreams only dreamed by the Gods
Can the heavens ever explain

Or relate to you

These feelings that are forbidden

But to you

For I can no longer endure

Such punishment

As the hand I’ve been dealt

In this cruel world

Where the pain of true love rules

And it resides in my broken heart.

~*~

Amber

~*~

I live each day alone
longing to be with you

Shattered at the thought that may never happen

Brings loneliness of the deepest kind..

My days are filled with longing

Needing your tender touch

Craving your luscious lips

That holds the honey to my existence.

Every waking day

Sends thoughts of lost lover’s chance

To have the happiness

That we both deserve.

Some long ago curse

Has set us apart

Wallowing in the painful

Realizations that we will never

Quench our deepest desires for each other.

You live your life as a prisoner to your desires,

Sending energy to my soul

That wills me to feel your pain

It hurts just as deeply as my own.

Fly on Mercury’s stallion

Make the journey to defy destiny

And consummate this passionate love

That only we can share

I beg of you to not delay!

Love is the most exquisite pain known to mankind. Distance is a matter of mind. Miles cannot diminish the longings nor can it ignore them. Consummation is the only cure, but with it comes the curse of memories that make being a foot apart seem like half a world.

Well written.

First of all William this poem is beautiful
So much emotions and pain and love
But trough this perfect chosen words of the first part
The feelings and love felt it’s true
But afraid of change
And in the second part she is hopeful and willing
To wait till his heart it’s ready to face that
He can’t go on this way and must let his heart
Make the choice,
A beautiful love story and collaboration
A stunning look of heart torn between two loves
Sending you Peace Love and Light…..Yolie

Two sides of a coin here and like a coin many similarities but also some distinct differences. In the first have you can feel the want and desire but also the acceptance of what must be, in the second part you also feel the want and desire but instead of acceptance a hope that he will change his mind and find a way. Interesting collaboration...well done.

What a beautiful love story to one another. Perhaps like Robert Browing and Emily Dickinson. Interesting write the way one person expresses their feeling while the other follows.

Like Tell's arrow and the apple, the poem come together if one hits the other, the arrow flies because the presence of the apple, the apple is there because the arrow. The last momentum...when they are together sharing the pain.
Great collaboration, don't ask me who's the arrow.
