Like any fisherman with a rod will tell, "the one that got away", as memory takes you back those forgotten paths when love was new and innocent. Great write, Musketeer!
Although, sixty years ago it was sin to think about girls then. :-)

| This poem brought back memories of my first kiss, and yes I was ten. The boy twelve . He had to move to Washington State with his parnts. I was heart broken. I still have his picture, and I remember!!!! The beauty, saddness and innonce, intertwine , capturing heartfelt moments in htis lovely poem....M |
