A Letter To A Goddess

A letter to a Goddess

My Dearest passionate love,

    Must I endure these Holidays?

In the pain of loneliness
without a word from my beautiful Golden Goddess
How cruel can this life ever be,

If I must continue to suffer the pains
of a forgotten once upon a time fairytale love

Forgotten like a tear drop in the rain...

The time and oceanic barriers

Have devastated our love starving passions

My dreams of you are fading to black

Like a silent movie off track

All I possess of you are our dreams you left behind

And loving memories we shared down line

Of cherished thoughts

Of times when I wrote love letters

Till they backed up, within a carrier’s pouch

No longer was he able to bear the brunt of their burden,

With his narrow shoulders.

No longer will my songs bring you delight

No longer, will I have the pleasure to recite

To you my most loving creative words ever composed

To the woman I love more then any other in this world

I had fallen deeply in love with you

Will we ever reconnect this circle of life?

In some form of strange reincarnation

Will it come around, or will it just pass us by?

Like two ships sailing in the darkness of the night.

I still dream, of you, and I can still feel your tenderness

Within my hallow embrace

Come to me my love Goddess just one more time

Place your lips gently against mine

And allow mine to grace the softness of yours.

Your ever loving Slave of Passion

“D’Artagnan”

William this is an awesome love letter to a special goddess
Your words captured deep intense feelings, and a beautiful
View of sensuality and desire, stunning view of a love that probably moved
Faraway or maybe meant for the goddess who holds your heart now
A brilliant love letter poem!!
Kudos
Wishing you Peace Love and Light….XOXO...Yolie

PS: Thank you even more for the time and thought you put into your
reviews. Reading what a poetry group member once referred to as my "
hobblety-bobblety" poems. (Always wondered what she meant, but
I was afraid to ask!) xOx P xOx

D'Artagnan:

For this Goddess to have captured your heart ever so deeply, is a shame to not pursue another chance. Such depths of emotions and so much passion igniting this poem into a bon fire of love. How can such a Goddess have this much influence on your heart? Well did you ever wonder that perhaps you burn passionately inside of her also?
Oh the slings of arrows how they pierce.

Love and passion two deeply moving emotions into the depths of reality. Can you have one without the other? I think not.

Your poem is such a profession of each of these elements.

I am in awe of your ability to wear write such beauty!

Much peace, love, and light,
