A beautiful and heartbreaking reminder of a wound that never heals, William. Is this the ship that was made from metal from the Twin Towers? To forget what happened is to welcome it again. We must stand staunch and tall in the face of the enemy and we must check our ranks, for the enemy now seems to have made its way within them.
Take care,

| I've missed you. I love the phrase "hollow site of our memories"--now we have something concrete to hold them. I am still mystified why all the other memorials are so tied up in red tape. Good write, William. |

Such a beautiful poem in tribute to an honorable new ship. Amazing that this ship was made from the steel. It is a very happy/sad occasion, but one that will definitely make the history books.
Thank you William for being who you are,
