From the confines of inspiration
I found time to write these few scribed lines.......

 Whispers in the wind

There is this mystic mist
Within the confines of my dreams
Beckons me continuously
Defying me to enter within
An arborous place.
There reside the forbidden fruit
That awaits to shroud us within
Engulfing us whole heartedly
Taking us to where we’ve
Never been.
Where sin is but a word
Waiting to entangle us into
The web where lovers dwell
To feed upon the sensuousness
Of passion.
Tears fall along side
Of long ago faded smiles
As you and I still nourish
Our minds with thoughts
Of love and dreams to come true
Waiting for the wind carrying
Those heavenly words, we feed upon
Whispering I love you.

Haunting. Or maybe the voice in this poem is haunted. Either way, this is written beautifully. Awesome ending line, William. Love and Hugs,

Whispering I love you.

Sweet sentiments; I sense a longing and an aching being expressed in this moving write. Thank you, William. Coincidentally, my latest poem posted here at AD is also about a dream. Love and peace to you,
