"You Reside within my every thought"

If I Erase You
~~

If I erase you,
You are my original
What will I ever do
Without you in my mind?

In time I’ll lose you
From my side
From the warmth
Of your embrace
From the sensuousness
Of your heavenly scent
From every thing
I’ve ever dreamt about you.

The nectars
Of your sweet tongue
I’ll  taste not anymore
If I erase you
What will I ever do?

There are some that one ought never to erase and in fact, I have found that they cannot be erased. Thank you, William. Love and peace,

URGH, I felt like I was closing the last page in a delicate book of LIFE here William!
What an endearing sweet loving poem!! That INSPIRATION that keeps your imagination strong and powerful, is enlightening! KEEP IT CLOSE! EMBRACE it (not too tight) and Love it sweetly!

WRITE ON!
Allow her closer and your writing will wisp away to dimensions beyond your control (What a Beautiful thought Huh)? :)

I THINK WE CAN NEVER 'ERASE' OUR INSPIRATION...IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE AND ALWAYS WILL BE THERE...ETERNALLY. WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...

Thinking deeply about the unthinkable can be a lonely and scary place, William. We only consider erasing that which is no longer valid, but if the "original" still persists, then the space created will soon again be filled... Poignant and beautifully expressed. xx

A deep sadness here, William,
the fear of loss obviously...
and the loneliness after.
Written with fine touch and sensitivity.

You seem to reach a depth in the lines, yet leave room for a conclusion... as a reader clues in on the 3 stanzas... A sense of desperation, while contemplating reason within the issue... Thanks for sharing...
