His Merciful Existence

As death came to his sight
and age was of youth,
he finds he is forever haunted by
the hope of years that
might yet have been lived.
A beautiful, bright white light
blazed through the window
of his heart.
He read no immediate
nor distant meaning
into the translucent
vision of life vibration...
All too soon, understanding
rose above him, washing
his mind and soul
in the soft, yet radiant
lavender of tender lament ~
Once accepted that
his love now sleeps eternal,
he has made peace and
come to terms with
this acceptance...
What is; what was; what lingers.
In the twilight to come,
in the season of life’s end,
he will meet her there ~
see her once again
and for always, as he
walks through the door
to a new and higher
level of Love’s divine
and merciful existence.
