Oops, I Lost my Sense of Humor

My Eve

I want to create a thing of beauty 'fore
I die
Just one beautiful thing I pray
Just one answer to one question why
Before my life slips away

Yet e'en the fine tools of all the arts that I know
Are unwieldy in my hands
My visions come swiftly yet my hands are slow
My soaring soul never lands

Yet my soul does soar and when the view is clear
I see paradise stretching below
And rising from it a song I hear
Its singer may I one day know

Its singer may I know one day
And add a harmony
For lonsome is her melody
While she waits so patiently

You have, and shall create much beauty before you die.

The beauty in your words is so pure so real.

Always a pleasure Adam..ty, Dani

Good form, you keep a prominent character in the work, and hold the craft well. Endearingly honest.

My sweet Adam.. Who you are is why you will be deeply loved in your life here.. she is looking too! Paths cross and criss/cross.. when you write simply and from your heart, as you've done here, you reach out to her and you will reach her in time. But it's who you are that she will answer... you have an irrisistible essence! I have always known that... believe it! love, mom/katy xox.

Sometimes, I think it's better to stay up there in the clouds and keep looking down. But, then after all, I have a jaded view. May one day that little bird spread its wings and join thee in the clouds hon! *hugz*

Keep pushing forward Adam. I believe you have produced several things of beauty in your writing. These were words penned from your heart, they sang a song of honest chords. Lisa
