To Touch the Sky

To touch the sky
and let that touch become an embrace

Thus embraced by the endless sky
to lie down upon the earth
To make love to the earth in the arms of the sky

Then to let these things
become as nothing
in a simple kiss from your mouth

I'll never know that kiss
So the sky and earth shall be my lover

I'll marry myself to the universe
of which you are a part
So that when you kiss the one you love
I'll kiss you in my heart

As i read this i thought of a cycle....the earth....nature...and how love can be a cycle too....so what goes around...?
you get the drift, i am sure

This is so magical, and pure, loving, and accepting, and yet hopeful....its wonderful

I think I know what your feelings are here!!

Adam this is one awesome deep, very deep write my friend!!
i've been in this "dream" many times....but got woken by pain time and time again...

The skies and the love of God are the Only Two things that I speak to lately...in the hope that someone might walk pass me and hear my call..thats echoing like an fish eagle calling his mate....high up in the blue-blue sky!!

Love Tinka

Okay ... this bout made me cry. Beautiful, just absolutely beautiful! Yet ... the sadness is so great. Sometimes, it's all one has it seems and I know this pain all too well. All I can say is that you've got such a beautiful soul Adam.

Cheers

My god, Adam.. this is, hands down, the MOST beautiful piece I've ever read of this genre! Nope, not being biased, being your mom and all.. it truly is! That 2nd verse is about as unique as it can get.. BUT.. BUT.. you must stop saying you will 'never' have this happen.. you already have.. and you will again! You have the dearest heart and the sweetest essence.. What a gorgeous work of poetry here.. I'm bursting with it. sigh.. love, katy/mom xox.
