| My dear Adam.. this has been so long in coming.. I hope it was cathartic, therapeutic, and that it eased some of the pain. When you spoke at Lance's memorial service, I understood every word, mostly how hard it was for you to get up in front of everyone.. Be at peace, sweet son, it isn't time for you yet. You have 'miles to go before you sleep...' Love, Mom/katy xox. |

The soul is endless ... for once the corporeal vessel fades, we are still here within everything. From the wind that blows through the trees to the rain that falls from the sky above. Etc etc etc ... very deep, very soulful yet sad write.

Oh this touched my heart
especially this
I wanted so badly to write
a beautiful poem in your honor
But then I thought
In a way all my creative expressions are in your honor
I'm much better at playing guitar than at writing poetry
So next time I play the guitar
It'll be just for you Lance
peace to you and yours Adam
