| Ah, Gabran, I soaked up some of his wisdom in past years. I see below that some are puzzled by your intent here. Me? I don't much care about intent, it is the reading and my own interputations that I care about. That makes me selfish? Probably. What can I say? I find within this exceptional piece of poetry age-old discoveries and truths realized. When he "Took a part and left a whole," then wandered off to some other zip code, this woman was not sad, because she had been given reason for life. Life, then, is this poetry's premise. Well done, you are quite the philosophical one these days, Susan. |

Susan - I'm still working on this one. You have me guessing at several meanings within your words. Then, again, I'm not too sure that I understand your intent to do other than to keep me guessing. Again, "I'll get back to you on this one." - Bill

Susan
You open a lot of doors with this cryptic write, and leave some others slightly ajar, a wise decision, as my beloved Aunt always used to say...." Never, ever close a door behind you in life completely "
