|I have been reminded recently, Susan, that I have been given only one life...and hat the decisions I have to make in this life are mine to make. if I donlt take them, then I'll never know what I have missed. So slow dances and chances are on my agenda...memories in the making. Thanks so much for reminding me...and taking that dance just slightly ahead of me paving the way with this terrific work of art. I feel your colors dancing too!

|The strands of a waltz shift through my head as I was reading this, the waltz is romance, love , passion all rolled into one and your poem captures this. I can still recall the first time as a young boy of no more then 12/13 with sweaty palms I waltzed for the first time with a pretty little girl. I can remember the last time I danced with my mother before she passed away, I can remember the first time I slow danced with my wife, the Father/daughter waltz at my daughters wedding. All landmarks that until I read your poem I did not realize how important they were to me. Thank you Susan

|Isn't it grand to pick and choose what and when we feel comfort in remembering. Mind and soul combine to present us with a soothing peace of spirit. This poem is very optimistic, and graceful, realistic and authentic..........written with intelligence, and heart.
Here's to all the best of melodies...........

|When you sit down to compose you must allow your mind to go into a deep well of memories and dreams and experiences, then you begin typing out the words. Then you begin to work magic with your fingers. Then you out perform simple poets such as myself. You NEVER write a bad one . . . How the hell do you DO that?|
