Beyond the door that once was closed
Then with his dew upon this rose
Comes like fairies in the night
His form is eased into my sight
His body ladened upon repose
Gentley nestled within his rose
Opened up as reds turn light
When cardinals flutter in this night
The songs emerge to touch the air
As he taste the petals there
Then passion speaks as lips croon
Slowly wakening...the night blooms.

I love the dreamy sensation of this Susan. I love the sounds of the night birds as the sun dips below the horizon, when "The songs emerge to touch the air."
