D.J. Ludlow, author
You are a fool said the stranger with a twinkle in his eye,
To stay trapped in there when you could soar in the sky.
Hemmed in as you are by wood and by wire,
Just doing as you're told. Are your dreams not higher?
Do you not wish to roam wide and answer to none?
Is it not your right to fly high and to run
Wherever you wish, no one to say no,
As free as the wind to come and to go?
Is not sweet Liberty the ultimate desire?
Does Freedom's flame set your heart on fire?
You too can be free, as free as I.
This boundary's no bar to one who can fly.
And she sat awhile and pondered these things,
Then gathered her strength and spread wide her wings.
And soared on the wind in the pale moonlight,
And the fox, he dined well on chicken that night.

|You are so right. Those who cry freedom or sometimes the ones who take it away from you. It is hard to trust anyone. Bill|
