Some days...

Another day, another morning
I’m waking up, your soul in mine

Trying not to cry

As I start to hear the sounds that remind me of you

Close my eyes, feel a breeze
Which embraces me with memories of you

The same breeze that burns in my eyes
brings me searching beyond the fields of imagination
For something that will keep
me through… the day after… without you

 Slowly fade away and
Never return
Is what I do
When thinking of you

 Over the mountain
Deep down In the valley
My soul travels
Just to find you
Among the stars above me
Where you have been all the time

Come back to me
you who travel
in the lands of nowhere

Come back to me
you who travel
in the lands of nowhere

Once again, your poem "speaks" to me because what you express is so very familiar to me, Angelica. Thank you. Love and best wishes to you,

Regis
