inspired by the book ' The Alchemist' in which the main character scours the world in sesrch of the Elixir of life, The search ends with the realisation that what he was seasrching for was right where he began. Also inspired by the story of 'The fisher king' and a personal experience in a relationship break up

We'll go insane, we'll go berzerk

If we keep  hiding behind our work

Put up our wall, we might get caught!

If we are seen to be giving things thought

Friens are friends, we lean on them

Again and again and again and again

We can't upset the apple cart

Each one now must play their part

We don our masks, we play charades

We song and dance, we put up guards

We keep our cool, remain restraint

We cover things up with a lick of paint

Hours and gaps we have to fill

We cannot seem to be standing still

We scour the planet to catch fresh meat

When love, if we look . . . . .

Is down our street
