On Poetry and Cholesterol   

He spoke about cholesterol

and cholesterol and cholesterol

and it being genetic

and about the diets that don't help

about the pills he won't take,

near him sat the poet

and spoke about his poems and his poems and his poetry

and how important it is

and how the young poets

are now writing like him.

I tried to talk but they wouldn't listen.

I concentrated on the miso soup

on my table and thought that

it is good

that poetry is not genetic

specially good poetry.
