There was Christmas that was always left behind
In memories of good wishes and greetings so kind
A Merry Christmas of long ago stood a silver tree
Reminincing of a Christmas floating thru the mind

There was hopes and dreams back then that told a story
Why we love the birth of Jesus Christ even to eternity
In Him we worship to gracefully praise His Holy name
Let the world see peace and keep Christmas the same

May we hear the carolers sing songs of Christmas again
Those Christmas' of years past was common then
There wasn't much under the tree happy we were
Christmas was like angel voices coming from a cold wind

In racing the heart to embrace the Lord with prayer
To watch the sky to see the stars of Bethleham
Onced upon a Christmas a picture like a mirror of time
Merry Christmas to all these memories comes from the mind
