This is written to the memory of a good man..He died for his country, His family and freedom...
Goerge sr..I Michael Horetsky write this to and for you and your family.. you are my friend. I can trust you. You do what you say. I have listened to you talk about the love of your family, the concerns and tribulations of a man and his love for his children and family. ..his childrens lives greatly influencing his life, still as all good fathers will.... till they pass on....you are judged human for these concerns, that so many take for granted. This is written to the memory of your boy..I met him on the phone.. I know him through your love.
I saw many people taking for granted this country..They abuse life. They make lives harder for others who are different....color, religion, jobs, looks , etc... Your son died for all of them.. I have heard that many men and women in this war fighting and dieing for us have green cards.. Thank You!!!!..though i know you not.. You have made our life better..I am dissapointed in humans, americans especially, yet your son has given us a chance he has put our lives in perspective..Thank you george Jr.
I am in a bad way right now.. my health, my life spinning.. I hit the road and drove 3200 miles in 6 days..I need help...life has gotten basic for me...... I had gotten the news from the tv. It was late, I heard the announcer say your last name and the town of Lebanon. A bad feeling overcame me.... Minutes later i heard the full news, the name..George Mitchell Jr., I was shattered. Life changed for me. Thank you George Jr., I Spoke your sons name to the wind. I toasted your sons name with strangers, a navy seal , Bikers, rich business men. We all stopped, George Jr. , and lifted our glasses, our hearts to you, your wife, and your children.. We all Thanked you George Jr.
My tears are streaming now.. My problems i can not run from.. they are still present. I will deal with them, George Jr.. You have no more problems.. Thank you George Jr. Everwhere i went people had problems, they had anger..they talk about people they live empty lives..they need a wake up call.. Thank you George Jr. Mine is answered...By you.. Your sacrifice is well taken your time had come..Why we all ask? I have many friends who do not live here.. They say we americans are spoiled we take for granted our freedoms.. are country..Other Americans. We take for granted ourselves. We for the most part have grown soft, Fat.. We have a recession. harder times, we cry.. You have no more tears.. You have made possible George Jr., For all of us to carry on. Wonderfull thing about this country is we can bitch... Not have a Saddam put us in Chains..Thank you George Jr. But we must learn to act...Take responsibility for our actions, take care of our own selves so we burden none..This is The greatest place on earth..Free men dieing so many can be free..Do not take this for granted ..George Jr..did not..He is DEAD.. For us..
In passing I must thank You again George Jr.. I can not do it enough...I must Thank your family..Your children..Your Wife..Parents...I must Thank All of you...I will speak Your name George to the wind..I will whisper it in my heart, i will yell it to the land....I will live my life as a good human, A free man..My duty to all who have died in this land, who have rendered the ultimate sacrifice their lives and freedoms, to make us all free.. I will hold my children, George Jr.. I will hold them tight ...I will tell them you gave them a second Chance..You gave this to all of us,, George Jr... We ALL THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God Bless You, George Sr. And all your Family

|I am the brother of George Mitchell Jr....my hero. I thank you along with all the rest of my relatives who beat me to it.I have read this over many times and each time I reflect on something new, something deeper inside that reminds me of my brother George. Sometimes tears of sorrow for the future plans of two brothers that will never be. Others are tears of happiness knowing he died in an honorable way so each and every one of us can live a true American life. And that he will be waiting to hold my hand and take me to a better place some day. Thanks Mike.......I don't know you, but hope to meet you soon. Dad talks well of you.|

|thank you for taking the time to write about George. He is very special to us,a nephew to me but like a son . I
sure pray that God takes good care of him. The hardest part comes later, when he doesn't walk through my door and throw his arms around me and tell me he loves me still. A piece of my heart went with him, but,I will see him again someday with his arms outstretched to me and he will hug me and tell me he loves me still
