*THE PAST LINGERS* The "Past" might have passed, but it's still there,,,, lingering,,,, dictating,,,, affecting every day of our future. Be it love,,,, or hate. Peace,,,, or war. Religion,,,, or complete lack thereof. The past lingers,,,, still dictating. We may try to deny it,,,, divorce it,,,, run from it,,,, or forget it all together,,,, but even in death,,,, it’s always there. ,,,,still dictating the future. Better, I think,,,, to embrace it. Our past experiences mold who we are today. My past has been, at times, a roller coaster but I'm happy with where I am and what I've become today. Tomorrow, now that's another matter. :) BTW, I love the picture you chose to go with this well written work. Donna

The "Past" might have passed, but it's still there,,,, lingering,,,, dictating,,,, affecting every day of our future. Be it love,,,, or hate. Peace,,,, or war. Religion,,,, or complete lack thereof. Very well said. The past is the summary--in us--of all the peoples who have dared to face their destiny before us. Sure, we add our own personal knowledge (Michael Polanyi) but the influence of the PAST bears heavily on all of us. rege
