"Dick-idioms" are little philosophical gems I have penned over the years. The numbering sequence has no relationship to their importance, or pecking order; it's just my way to identify them.

To an optimist,
“Today is
yesterday’s bridge to tomorrow.”
To a pessimist,
“Tomorrow is
today’s escape from yesterday”
To a realist,
“Today is
simply tomorrow’s yesterday.”
But to an opportunist,
If it didn’t sell yesterday,
 jack up the price today,
put it on sale tomorrow.”
