This is the 8th in a series of Fractured Fables I have recently written about old nursery rhymes.

FRACTURED FABLES # 8 – PETER, PETER PUMPKIN EATER

Peter, Peter had a real sweet wife,
he always called her pumpkin.
We all called him Peter, Peter Pumpkin eater
cause he was always chewing her out for somethin.

Well, one day Pumpkin had enough
and she started chewing back.
So, now Pumpkin was eating Peter, Peter
and she had really developed the knack.

Now we have Peter, Peter eating Pumpkin
and Pumpkin eating Peter, Peter back,
all Hell has broken loose
and it’s a struggle keeping track.

(and it’s the most ungainly 69 I’ve ever even tried to imagine.)

You are a deliciously naughty boy, but we all love your funny "Fractured Fables." Keep going until all the fables are covered! Very original writing with your touch of wonderful humor. Write on!
