To this date I've written over
2000 poems on AD,
after the death of Christ Jesus,
or authorsden going to please us.
AD will please,
and it will tease,
have your brain in the trees,
your feelings looking for a breeze.
This doesn't make me an expert,
it says I've lived through the hurt,
been around for awhile,
I'm no just starting birthed child,
running around wild.
I've been here more than seven years,
so goes my poetic fears.
Saying all of that to say this,
I don't care how you write,
or how much you write.
I'm past my poetic fright,
I'm more like the vampire at night,
the blood sucker on sight.
The wolfman howling under a full moon,
I'll see your rookie azz soon.
If you just joined,
before you get all thorned,
get some experience under your pen,
write awhile longer in the den.
Then you'll get it,
before you start to hit it.
At least hide your message board,
because I assure,
you might not be adored.
Reviews and attention,
may not be an honorable mention,
you might feel like retreating,
if you're weak and self defeating.
Quite a few times you'll be deletting,
readjusting your seating.
Doing inside the brain meeting.
I'm old news,
the pain don't bruise.
Depending on how you write,
you might have to fight.
Then again you may not suffer any fright.
But do us a favor,
it might be a life savor.
Write more than five poems,
before you try spreading your charms.
Depending on why you're here,
AD might be dear,
or it can end up an abyss,
providing no bliss.
