Desire can weigh a ton
for every daughter father
mother and son
even death before we're done
We will not get everything
that we desire
especially a billion dollar empire
It's just too much that it require
We will certainly be under fire
Basically we desire food shelter
and love
but many only suffer from hunger
homeliness push and shove
Makes one wonder about the
Lord above
Why some have so much
Americans live like such
many foriegners are out of touch
We all desire a good life
but many only suffer misery and strife
Happiness can be the furthest mountain
for some saddness only comes out
of their fountain
It affects the way they react and think
but some continue to drink
Desire is almost prenatal
once out of the womb it can
certainly become fatal
