Emotions run high when making love,
gets you so excited it moves you in the groove.
Emotions run high when you're pissed off,
chokes you all up and makes you almost cough.
Emotions run high if you're about to die,
makes your heart and soul want to cry.

Keeping your cool is hard to do,
when life pushes and presses you.
Holding on becomes hard as hell,
makes you want to scream and almost yell.
You try to be cool,
but on you drool.
Fangs pop out,
claws sprout.

The next few seconds seems like eternity,
when you're pushed to an extremity.
You barely survive,
being lucky you're still around to thrive.
When life returns to the norm,
you be glad you survived the storm.

Yes, Grady it is hard to deal with those emotions. If it helps any, we all have them. Peace be with you. This poem was done well.
