Tossed away
of little value
nusence copper bits
in pockets of silver,
of green.
Passerbys ignore them
save for
penniless indigents
who bask in such found treasure.
Large jar sits in a corner
of my room,
pennies,
hundreds of pennies
no use just sittin.
Pockets full,
weighed down, I walk,
tossing handfuls
of pennies on the ground.
