Print Save Become a Fan
Oh how I used to love robbing banks;
Racing down the street,
To outrun the heat.
I had them beat there for a while.
Until I got a partner who couldn’t run
Fast enough to stash the cash.
So I got busted and did some time
It was nine, but I'll tell you it was the crime
That was mine, the law was blind, and the banks were kind
Now I just sit and think of those days, and those ways.
But all in all I did have a ball;
I knew I would be caught,
But I couldn’t be bought.
The past was a blast, but now I've settled down
I've stopped being a clown,
In those ways, I still like to play.
I never act my age; it's fun to be put on a stage,
Where you're being part of a page.
