A friend of mine once told me death in itself is probably not that bad. It's the process of getting there that bothers him.

Death can seize you during the day.
Death can grab you at work or play.
Death can snatch you, too, at night.
Death can steal you away without a fight.
Death can appear if you’re young or old.
Death can emerge in the heat or cold.
Death knows when your time is near.
Death knows it is your biggest fear.
Death knows it will win in the end.
Death knows to it’s will you’ll bend.
Death knows all in life it will hound.
Death knows it will always be around.

Lowell, All very true, but we've both got a lot of living to take care of for now. Don't know about you, but that's where I'm concentrating my energies these days.

This was a nice reminder. Thanks, Dick

I'm not afraid of death. I know where I'll go in the hereafter. I do hope that I'll live long enough to get my love one's in the fold. A chilling view of death, good work, Lowell.

Many blessings,
