Lord, did You hear the children's prayers?
Their voices are not strong.
I know You're busy there Upstairs,
But this won't take too long.
Suzie is asking Your forgiveness.
She just told a lie.
Johnny is scared of growing old.
He doesn't want to die.
Katy wants to make some friends.
The kids are being mean.
Lord, show her where the angels are,
The ones that are unseen.
Billy is a nice young man,
But slower than the rest.
Lord, he can make it with Your help.
Please help him pass tomorrow's test.
All these problems You have heard
Are where their troubles start.
Please let the warmth of Your great love
Touch each and every heart.
Lord, show them where Your servants are.
Take away their cares.
Show the doubters that it's true --
God answers children's prayers.
