Piece From Ancestors Idiom Collection

CAN YOU HEAR THE BREEZE
SING ITS DURGE
AS I SWING TO THE CADENCE OF YOUR ANCESTORS SINS?

DO YOU FEEL THE CREEKING IN YOUR BONES
AS THE ACHING OF THE POPLAR TREE GROANS
IN MEMORY OF BROKEN DREAMS,
PROMISES NEVER MEANT
AND RICHES NEVER SPENT
TO MAKE AMMENDS FOR THE CRIMES AGAINST THE COLOR OF MY SKIN?

I SPEAK TO THE INSTITUTION OF YOUR CRIMINAL MIND
THAT BUILT THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
OFF THE BLOOD OF MY BODY AND SOUL THROUGHOUT TIME
AND THE IMPOSED SACRIFICE OF MY INHERITANCE AS KING?

FAMILY TORN BY DISREGARD OF ITS BIRTHRIGHT
YET IN PEACE I STILL FIGHT
TO RECREATE THE LIFE THAT SPEAKS MY ORIGINS
AND REVEALS TIMES SPENT
UNDER THE ORIGINAL TREES OF ACACIA
WHEN LIFE RESPECTED LIFE NATURALLY AND DEATH…
WELL, DEATH WAS A WORD NOT CREATED YET.

CAN YOU HEAR THE BREEZE
AS IT SINGS THE DURGE OF MODERN DAYS
AS THE EARTH MOTHER RETURNS TO ANCIENT WAYS
LONG INGRAINED IN THE MELANIN TONES OF MY CELLULAR MEMORY?

TELL ME… CAN YOU HEAR?
