In a deep, deep cavern void of daylight
The Glico was a slumber
Ring,
Ring,
Ring!
Rang the Glico’s telephone number

“Who has my telephone number?”

The Glico awoke, he did not grin he just shrieked
His face as dark as sin

“Who’s waking me from my slumber?
You had better have good reason for dialing
my telephone number”

“Never”

“Never?”

“Yes, Never, Dr Never”

“Hmmm, well I never Never, what, Never?”

“Are you alone?”

“Hmmm, yes I’m alone.” The Glico did grumble,
“Yes I was asleep,
I was a slumber,
Until you dialed my telephone number”

“Listen up Glico; I have a job for you
Today it’s Halloween I want every pumpkin pie
To make all children cry?”

The Glico did grin. “May I ask why?”

“Yes, mummy never gave me pumpkin pie…”

Dear Andy,Your poem is very cute."“Listen up Glico; I have a job for you.Today it’s Halloween I want every pumpkin pie
To make all children cry?” After the delivery of the pumpkin pie, I am sure that you made the children also smile. Love Emile

Gooning around I see... Never say never unless you're Never... On that basis, last line could be totally ambiguous:

"Mummy Never gave me pumpkin pie..." Perhaps Mummy Never's PP was pretty yuk-yuk! Making Glico sicko.... xxxx

An analogy that shares deep emotions Andy. As for Glico's emotional challenges, I never pry. It's too deep. Deeper than mum's pumpkin pie deprivation program me thinks. Love and peace to you my dear friend. Jon Michael

I suppose you're the Glico, then, because you've been hibernating a long time, hmmmm? Very whimsical. Funny, actually. Killingly clever.
