Dark Beauty

I miss you, my dark beauty,
your feathers against my skin.
I miss you, my forbidden love,
your beak brushing my lips.

Our love could never bear fruit.
We're of two different worlds
and two different kinds...
but we're both the same inside

I still recall your scent
and the way you said my name.
I cry still as I think back
about the time I caused you pain.

I miss climbing the trees
to share the sky with you.
But I wouldn't ever change it.
I wouldn't change a thing.

You have a family now,
and a circle of friends
I wouldn't take that back,
just to have you again.

Just know that I miss you,
my black feathered beauty,
and I hope you miss me too.

I loved a crow once..

This piece in particular is quite beautiful yet undeniably quite tormenting. It's very well written.. So what was the crow's name?
