Language is a wonderful expression of a culture and to lose that would be very sad indeed, Abdi-Noor. I wonder if Somalia has enough fight left in her to reclaim herself or if the evil leaders who care only for their own fame and nothing for the people will ever be overthrown. With the illness, starvation and suffering of your people, the question becomes "Who can be the warriors of truth and right?" I pray for Somalia and I pray for you and your family that the future will bring brighter days.
Take care,
Sherry |

| That is beautiful, and yes it does seem that much is dying...but in death, comes rebirth. It's wonderful to see someone cry out in mourning over the loss of something sacred and yet proudly honor their heritage.... |

It seems that so much is dying on our planet Abdi Noor! I hope and pray a way will be found to save Somali language, literature and poetry. That your people will find a way to come together and prosper! God bless you and yours.I will keep praying!
