Much Noise About Nothing

This was just like Shakespeare’s much ado about nothing.
Kathy Armijo's poem "If I were rich" inspired me.

While strolling with Jane in the beach
We stopped for a short relax to ponder
As an idea has dawned on us instantly

We decided to have fish for lunch
We shared the cooking assignment
We collected firewood, fetched water

A quarrel started between us at once
She wanted to add salt before the oil
I insisted that oil should come first

But we have forgotten one thing:
That we did not even catch the fish
We made good noise about nothing

You made me laugh. Gotta' catch the fish before you can eat it or buy the lottery ticket before you I can be rich. Thankfully, I'm incredibly rich in so many, many ways - not necessarily, materially.

Still chuckling.

We made good noise about nothing

I think we are all often guilty of that!

Excellent! Got to have it first before planning what to do with it.

(((HUGS))), love and prayer, Karla.
