All religions are of the same roots. It is the people who interpret the way they want for their own material gains. I was inspired by a friend and brother Said Mohamed Mohamúud who is the chairman of Somali Minority organization peace and Human rights who is also an activist on integration and dialogue for communities with different religious and cultural backgrounds.

Sisters of love
Born out of love
Brought up in love

Coming from same source
Sent in by the same God
Spreading the same word

Promoting peace and love
Preaching integration
Encouraging dialogue

They are the religions of God
The light of love and peace
A ray of hope in the horizon

But sisters are under abuse
Devils of greed are at work
Their aim is religious divisions

Abdi-Noor, I am reminded of some wisdom that Joe South, the singer/songwriter penned in his song, "The Games People Play". "Singing glory glory halleluiah, while they try to sock-it to yah, in the name of the Lord". The faith of all of the people of the world must tbe greater than the lies and deceptions of a few evil people. Jon Michael Willey

The Muslims have the crazy mullahs, the Christians had Torquemada, the Jews had the nazis, the centeramerican indians had the fanatics and bestial priest, every religion has its blessings and its curses, one should find inside own heart who's bad and who's good and follow the path God intended.

Abdi-Noor,

"Sent in by the same God ..." but who's? Problem is, mankind interprets God and His beliefs for their own agenda - sad. Many refuse to believe IN God - which is even sadder. How did they get here? Evolve? I don't think so. An excellent thought provoker you've penned - well done.

(((HUGS))), love and prayer, Karla.

Very true, as those who lack faith still see in the pope, something to believe in ... a life devoted to God's love.
