In the beginning there was
a WordStar, which begat
through no desire of its own--
but from otherís competitive
need to exceed and dominate--
a more perfect Word.

All were facsimiles of the other,
playing a game of one-upmanship
in the race to not become
the penultimate collection of black dots
interspersed and arranged
in a convenient array,
across a flat white light bulb
that blinds eyes straining hard
to see, theirs and others
thoughts, typed into Windows
. . . the Apples of electronic souls.

Very clever, I can't help but wonder of possible Metaphors here. It is nice to see you. I have been away for awhile and am slowly getting back in the swing of things here at AD. Thank you for your inspiration. Be Well Always, Carin'
