I have watched you from afar
I have studied you
I know your moves
I know how you seduce
I know how you hide the truth
I have seen you lie
To me
To your family
To your friends
To your women
It breaks my heart
It makes me sad
It makes me cry throughout the day
It makes me almost pray
It makes me despair
Why, why is life so unfair
Why can’t you do what you say
Why can’t you answer me when I ask you to
Why can’t you stop playing mind games
Why can’t you love me like I love you

Time to cut and run, Super Girl! He even lies to himself, don't you. Excellent write, you nailed it, a liar is a liar is a liar.

On the other hand... maybe the character in your poem is clever enough *not* to love a liar?

Supergirl,

Excellent "Why can’t you stop playing mind games
Why can’t you love me like I love you "
Always the mind games I love this one.
And the repetition at the start of verses.

I have had the same experience too. I wrote a poem about it too. It is really hard to deal with someone who lies all the time. I wish I meet a guy that I can trust and I hope that you do too. You deserve it. Great poem. It is the only way to let true feelings out in the open.
With Love
