My fiance' is a kidney and pancrease recipient. He is in the hospital yet again. One moment he's as strong as an ox, then something tries to take him down! His immune system is compromised and that can cause 100's of complications! He's coming home today and will be okay, but this is the fourth time he's scared me to death since I met him in December 2008. So I pour...

We drift,

We collide,

We slip,

We abide;

One touch,

Is all it took,

To remember,

The way you looked;

Your never far,

you never fade,

Like the sun,

That raises day!

We wait,

Our hearts they thirst,

to never touch you,

To taste the curse;

You drift,

You walk behind,

Silent you suffer,

Without goodbye;

I am okay,

Is what you say,

It's really nothing, -

A little grey!

You see, to me,

I never know,

Is this the time?

The time love goes?

You fade away,

Then you collide,

As if you never,

Closed your eyes!

You slip again,

Away from sight,

My greatest friend,

My love,

my life!

What do I hold,

When eyes stay closed?

I want to hold you,

Until I'm old!

We drift and we abide,

we fade, as if to die,

A love as ours, - one so strong,

To keep the flame but not the bone?

Can I abide?

Is there a choice?

I'll never drift,

without your voice...!

I love you Jon !

Michelle, I will pray today for you and your love. The love you have between you is worth the heartache of setbacks and struggles. I think your writing is excellent as you pour out your heart and share the emotions of your struggles and ups and downs. God bless and keep you!

These verses and what you express within them are very compelling and moving, Michelle. Of course I cannot say that I "know" what you are going through (experiencing) but I can offer my caring and empathy. Love, peace, and blessings to you both,

Regis
