Truth condemns wrongdoing.

People run from it out of fear,

believing that ignorance means bliss

But predators don’t shed merciful tears.

The horizons of ignorance are narrow,

Hence the naïve get taken advantage of.

Hate can’t sing “His eye is on the sparrow.”

This world is not characterized by love.

Ignorance often gets people killed.

Indeed,the facts can cause worry,

but knowledge in itself is not fatal.

It’s vital to know the truth

in this world of falsehood and fables.

Make it a point to get that AIDS test.

Knowing the results

will enable you to be proactive

and get the jump on things

to accomplish some good.

Nothing positive can come

from reacting when it’s too late.

Go and see if your suspicion is right.

Find out if he's cheating or not.

Knowing will enable you to move on.

You deserve better since you’ve been faithful.

Why don’t you ask the woman out?

Don’t let opportunities pass you by.

You’re going to hate seeing her on somebody else’s arm.

Other fellows are going to be quick to step to her.

True, the news may hurt if it’s negative,

but you’ll be proud of yourself

for having the courage

to say what’s on your heart.

Sometimes one chance is all we get.

Certain moments come about

only once in a lifetime.

So seize the moment!
