My Mentor Group

Goal-oriented

Everything we do has swag

Never fold a document. Always keep a portfolio.

Take your discipline like a man. Don’t blame others for your mistakes.

Ladies first!

Embraces different kinds of people

Men don’t run away from their responsibilities.

Eager to help others

No Joke! (Business goes before pleasure.)

Self out of sight! No one man is above the brotherhood.

Quiet when grown people are talking!

United

Education is a must.

Successful men follow the same advice they prescribe for others.

Talented in many ways

Wonderful. I am going to share this with a friend of mine who runs a Man of Principle.

However, I wonder where parents are in this picture.

I spent my elementary years in a very rough neighborhood. Half my contemporaries were criminals by the time they were teenagers. My parents were very open-minded and gave me a lot of responsibility for my own actions. As a result, I never had any desire to lie, cheat or steal to get ahead. My teachers, Boy Scouts and Sunday school mentored me some, but mostly, it was my own desire to decide my destiny that kept me on the right track.

Too many excuses today
