Secrecy breeds suspense

that is always dying to find out.

Curiosity wanes

when the waters of inquiry

evaporate from drought.

Hence, persons who reveal too much of themselves

are of no interest that will last.

Minds ponder

when veiled are identities with masks.

Feared is secrecy.

People are usually discomforted

by what they don't understand,

which is why there is media for inquiry

to comfort the gossiping woman and man.

Isn't it true that the truth always comes out?

And interesting it is when it does!

Too bad many his-tory books don't tell it.

Some paths are rooted knee-deep in mud.

So true, schoolbooks would have it that history was the way that certain politically correct people think it was. Thanks to the Internet and multiple, competing television networks, more and more history is being revealed.

Thoughtful write.

Yes indeed, some paths ARE rooted knee-deep in mud. Staying on the straight and narrow is difficult at times but well worth the reward at the end of the road.

MINDING ONE'S OWN BUSINESS AND LEAVING ANOTHER'S ALONE...WORKS. BOASTING IS NO RECOMMENDATION...THE TRUE 'SELF' IS SO OFTEN HIDDEN. ONE FEARS WHAT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND...READILY BELIEVING WHATEVER THEY HEAR. WHEN THE TRUTH IS REVEALED IT IS OFTEN UNRECONIZED...BEING
SO COVERED WITH 'DIRT'. SO VERY WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
