Autumn Days
An orange light filters through my windowpane. Leaves that are streaked gold, greens, oranges, and blues.
They set ablaze a room of glory crowned with myrtle, twigs, and, hay.
Sealed in silence, cool and quiet the room is free of mortal guilt.
Shut alone with dignity and purpose, the light flows in a forever stream.

I love Autumn! The rustic colors seems to just embrace the universe. While I dread the ice of winter, I'm glad we atleast get to enjoy the mildness of Fall.
Beautiful write. Lisa |

Very nice, Lillian! I miss Autumn. The seasons don't really change here in Costa Rica....well not like they do in the States. We have Winter which is rainy season and Summer which is dry season and thats about it. They leaves don't change color and I miss that. This piece brought back all of the beautiful colors of fall that I remember from childhood. Very good imagery. I feel like going for a hay ride! Thanks for sharing this!
