In the End...

We make the worst choices in life sometimes.
Whether it be the choice to start things anew
or to put an end to things that never were,
we ultimately change the fate of everyone around us.
In the process of making these choices we lose ourselves.

We begin our lives with a clean slate.
What we once were will never return.
The innocent and trusting nature of all beings
is quickly altered and twisted with each new choice made.
We allow our better natures to disappear.

I confess now that in my life many choices should not have been made.
To assess the damage caused by such choices
you realize that the good, honest, fathful, wonderful person you once were
is nothing more than a lowly, coniving, horrible wretch.
We end our lives in utter disgust of ourselves.

WOW, this is intense! I have to agree with Karen, as long as you are breathing, tomorrow could be a better day, a changed day.

Oh how sad, filled with disillusionment. Yet, as long as we are alive there is hope to correct that which went wrong....

Be always safe,
