A clock is ticking in my small apartment
My clock
My computer hums to itself
My refrigerator tsks and complains
My dog licks his lips and sighs

Itís late, as always,
And as always
I sit here with nothing
But these things that are mine

It was me

I have nothing now
Nothing
But these things that are mine

And, so we discover how little "things" mean or, at least, how little they should mean to us. Very good,Susannah: brief, thought provoking and very deep in so few words. Visit me sometime.
