** Pain **

Pain, on my heart,
Writes a song

In the veins of song
Runs separation

In the rain of separation
Rains poison

In the goblet of poison
Floats your memory

On the doorsteps of memory
Sits pain

And pain, on my heart,
Writes a song.

Pain, on my heart,
Writes a song

From the branches of song
Fall dreams

In the desert of dreams
Wanders life

In the hug of life
Sleeps melancholy

From the womb of melancholy
Births pain

And pain, on my heart,
Writes a song.

Pain, on my heart,
Writes a song

On the pages of pain
Are spread you and me

The love of you and me
Is hanged by a noose

From the twists of the noose
Drips blood

From blood stained earth
Springs pain

And pain, on my heart,
Writes a song.

** A Poem Written In Helplessness **

Before sleeping
I read a book
That keeps me awake
In my dream…

After waking up
I read another book
That maintains my wakefulness
In my unawareness…

The right to choose sleep or wakefulness
Is not granted to me
But I have to choose
Either falsehood or death…

I choose falsehood…

Feeding the poison of breaths
To a false life
I live cowardice…

After becoming coward and false
The affection of gods
Is declared forbidden for me
Because my betterment
Is conditional
to my eternal loneliness…

Fleeing from loneliness
I go towards people…

Giving me even more loneliness
People cut off my feet
And erase all paths of my return…

Tiredly
I go and sit at that place
Where ultimately
I shall be murdered…

Before murdering me
I shall be sewn
Inside the skin of ocean
And after murdering me
I shall be buried
Inside a cloud
Made up from my breaths…

“I would have never forgiven my murderer
If there was someone
To avenge my murder” ###
