There is safety in this solitude

I live it day to day

There is safety in this solitude

What else is left to say

There is safety in this solitude

From myself I can not hide

There is safety in this solitude

Its myself I can't abide

There is safety in this solitude

To myself I can not lie

There is safety in this solitude

At times I want to die

There is safety in this solitude

I am but only one

There is safety in this solitude

There in no other one

There is safety in this solitude

That I can't deny

There is safety in this solitude

From here I want to fly

There is safety in this solitude

I'd rather be alone

There is safety in this solitude

From myself I can not roam

There is safety in this solitude

Its better than a living hell

There is safety in this solitude

I do not want to dwell

There is safety in this solitude

I'm safer on my own

There is safety in this solitude

My "friends" to me have shown

There is safety in this solitude

I die a little each day

There is safety in this solitude

There is nothing left to say.
