I lie by the river, stretching my arms
to the eternity, in search of you
with the stars in my eyes, weaving
the moonlight in my soul with joy.
Love, O my love, come to me,
come in my arms, and lay down
your dreams in the valley of
my shoulder, where the heart
ripens and the bird of love sings
the song of the lover’s unity.
‘Come, my darling!’ utter not
a word. Close your eyes, and
lower your lips over mine.
Drown me in the pool of ambrosia
and let me moan with the infinite,
beneath the heavens virgin core.
Tomorrow, I hope to wake up
with the dews of your breathe
all over my face, and read
the morning paper in your eyes.

First four lines. The last four lines.
The rest in between is a testament to the good stuff nestled between the beginning and the end. Altogether, your original style just rocks the daylights out of this page!

A love to be lost in, Bhuwan! You final line is such a contrast in terms of concept and language, but fits just right and speaks volumes! The visual is stunning and is a perfect compliment to your beautiful sentiments. "Lay down your dreams in the valley of my shoulder" and "let me moan with the infinite, beneath the heavens virgin core" has such a sense of deep passion, loving care and tenderness. You epitomise the heart of the self-giving, wholly yielded lover. Melting, thank you. Kate xx
